Play Dirty isn’t terrible, but it also doesn’t clear the high bar Black set for himself after making great crime comedies like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys. Wahlberg doesn’t really pop here, and there’s a big light rail set piece that looks pretty underwhelming. Pretty fun cold open though and LaKeith Stanfield is great. 🏇🏇.5 / 🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇.
