Freakier Friday is nostalgia bait, which is fine, because I’m not sure the source material warrants a continuation of this story. Some elements even work; Chad Michael Murray inexplicably hopelessly longing for Jamie Lee Curtis is kind of a funny bit that pokes fun at the original. There’s some good jokes, but the movie fails to make any attempt to make any impression on its two newcomers, Harper and Lily. 🏄♀️🏄♀️.5 / 🏄♀️🏄♀️🏄♀️🏄♀️🏄♀️.
