Yabbos. This is a Halloween classic and a great artifact of the 90s. What Hocus Pocus lacks in its story is made up for in its production design. The practical effects make this movie, and its characters, come to life; the witch book with its wandering eye and Billy Butcherson are the best examples of this.  It’s also great because Max refers to his Halloween garb as a “Rap singer” making his the most white bread character ever made and the countless jokes made as Max’s expense (including by his 10 year old sister) about his virginity. 🎃🎃🎃 / 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃.
