The Silent Force

Three special government agents strike out against organized crime. Tonight: the trio goes after a mob-connected district attorney who has framed a sheriff on a narcotics charge--a front page story that could make the DA governor.

An ex-football hero is forced to join the mob's black ghetto numbers racket. He also becomes the special agents' first contact with a racket they're trying to infiltrate and destroy.

Attorney Walter Garland, running a call-girl operation for the syndicate, plans to blackmail Howard Bartlett, aide to a United States Senator, who has become involved with one of the girls. Amelia impersonates a call girl and Ward poses as a wealthy Texan.
