Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Vishambharnath is all praise for Akshara as he believes she is lucky for his business. As Rajshri worries about Akshara, Vishambharnath tells her that it is his responsibility to take care of her. He also tells Rajshri that Bhola will watch a film with Varsha and Akshara.

On their way to the cinema, Varsha tells Akshara to audition for a singing competition. They manage to shake off Bhola who was coming with them and in the market, Akshara holds Alok's hand. How will Vishambharnath react when he comes to know of this?

Alok tells Varsha that he met Akshara. Akshara is distressed about displeasing her parents. Rajshri advises her to follow the customs of the family and Vishambharnath feels Akshara is wrong. Will he forgive her?

Varsha instructs Alok not to follow her as she doesn't want to meet him again. She invites Shaurya to a picnic. Meanwhile, though Dadi asks Akshara not tell Shaurya anything about the previous day's incident, he comes to know of it from Anshuman. What will Shaurya do?

At the picnic, Varsha teases Shaurya. She then notices Alok there and starts yelling. Shaurya thrashes Alok for touching Akshara. Rajshri suggests that Vishambharnath should not be told of this incident. Will Vishambharnath come to know of this?

Akshara does not want to go to college and Rajshri tells Vishambharnath that she is not feeling well. Meanwhile, he comes to know that Alok is the same person that Akshara was spotted with, in the market. Alok's friend calls Akshara and gives her some news about him.

Akshara is furious when she comes to know that Rajshri has asked Shankari Tai to search for a groom for her. She requests Dadi to postpone her marriage as she wants to continue her studies. Will her father agree?

The family gets ready for Akshara's marriage and a photographer is asked to take pictures for her profile. Akshara is angry at this and Om tries to convince Sunaina to postpone the marriage. Will Akshara's marriage get postponed?

Akshara is depressed about her marriage preparations and cries to Dadi. She also pleads with Rajshri to delay it. Meanwhile, Varsha tells Shaurya that even her mother has started looking for a groom for her. Will Akshara's pleas be heard?

To Akshara's relief, Rajshri stops pressurising her to marry. Meanwhile, she becomes suspicious that Varsha and Shaurya are more than just friends. She starts keeping an eye on them. Will she find out the nature of the relationship between the two?

Akshara decides to fast on the day of Gangaur. She and the other women of the family make an idol of Shankarji. Meanwhile, Dadi and Gopi Dadi talk about the sacrifices Gopi Dadi has made for the family. In the meantime, Varsha and Shaurya spend time with each other.
