Six people in their thirties met during their student years in Antwerp and stayed after their studies in or around the city, each looking for their own way, a job and a partner. The friendship survived, but now each of them struggles with the challenges of their generation. This impossible work-life balance and an unresolved trauma in which each carries his own secret, cause tensions within the group of friends.

Nora doesn't know what to answer to Pieter's question or how to keep her secret hidden from Jeroen. She seeks support from Alex, but he has little understanding of her situation. Tinne worries about Bart's relationship with the babysitter. Saartje gives her tenants the night of their lives.

Pieter is relieved when Nora finally replies to his messages. But for Nora, it becomes increasingly difficult to remain silent. Especially when Jeroen suggests to ask Pieter as godfather for their baby. Bart has to stand by his daughter at a very special moment. Alex and Elias' new neighbors are not as nice as they had hoped. Saartje tries to help Pieter with his financial problems.

Babs notices that Robin's death has had a huge impact on Pieter and his family. Nora's guilt towards Jeroen and Robin is growing. She can no longer remain silent. Alex no longer understands the relationship of his upstairs neighbors. Saartje is worried about her mother. Tinne checks Bart's cell phone.
