Transatlantic
Set in 1940 Marseilles, two Americans and their allies run a scrappy rescue effort to help artists, writers, and other refugees flee Europe during WWII. The historical drama follows people working through danger and bureaucracy to get others to safety, drawing from the Emergency Rescue Committee’s real work.
