When hospital policy prevents Dr. Lahela "Doogie" Kamealoha from treating a patient with no insurance, Lahela vows to help the next person who walks through the doors no matter what…even when that someone is a little boy's dog. Meanwhile Lahela's brothers Kai and Brian Patrick help their dad Benny come to terms with the passing of Uncle John by planning a celebration of his life.
