Stranded on his way home, a lounge singer is pressured to stay overnight in a small Nevada town after a pair of aspiring songwriters sabotage his plans. To cool down the jealous household, a local waitress is recruited to pose as the singer’s partner’s wife and keep things from getting out of hand.
