After a football-game accident leaves a television cameraman with minor injuries, his unscrupulous lawyer brother-in-law urges him to exaggerate the damage and pursue a huge insurance settlement. The scheme grows complicated when the remorseful player tries to help and the cameraman’s ex-wife returns, apparently interested in reconciliation.
