In the jungles of South America, two small-town fundamentalist missionaries arrive to convert indigenous people after a previous mission ended in tragedy. Tensions grow as an American pilot joins the community, romance and rivalry flare between the missionaries and their connections, and outside forces of “civilization” push closer, threatening disaster.
